Our goal in treating a resident with an acute problem is to improve their
health and functional ability. When treating the resident our main
focus is to initially stabilize and/or maintain the level of health of
the resident and then assist the resident in achieving their highest
possible level of function and well being.
If treatment is determined to not be medically necessary, or if the
problems exhibited would be better treated by another discipline, we will
refer the resident back to your facilities' behavioral intervention
program with suggestions and recommendations for care planning. The
efficacy of the care provided, whether by Paradigm or another provider is
always our priority.

Facilities that have advertised
Paradigm's Behavioral Health Programs have been successful in reaching
out to the community, giving the facility a competitive advantage in a
very competitive marketplace.
Our programs meet all State
and Federal guidelines and are fully HIPAA compliant. Documentation
is designed to meet or exceed all requirements set forth by Medicare and
the State Professional Licensing Board. We also meet all standards
set forth by HEDIS, URAC and NCOA, the external accreditation agencies
for managed care organizations.

Paradigm will only see residents who are referred
to their program.
We will only see individuals who are referred to us
by your facility's representative. Paradigm is bound by
Medicare's guidelines related to the process of referral for evaluation
and treatment. Paradigm will not treat an individual without a
valid physician order and consent.
