“Your labs came back normal.”
Then nobody has looked properly.
“Normal” is a range built from everybody. It is not an answer about you. We measure hormones, thyroid, iron, bone, heart and metabolism properly — then a physician sits down and tells you what each result means at your age, and what to do about it.

Longevity-focused concierge medicine · Franklin & Nashville · Evidence, not hype.

Women get told these are normal. Normal and untreated are not the same thing.
The eight numbers that matter most
The annual memberships include this testing across your first year; Life Plan is the one-time assessment on its own. These are the areas most often left unmeasured in women.
HormonesEstradiol, progesterone, FSH, testosterone, DHEA
Measured and interpreted against where you actually are, not against a one-size range.
ThyroidTSH, free T4, free T3 and antibodies
A “normal TSH” on its own misses a great deal of thyroid trouble.
IronFerritin, not just a blood count
Low iron stores can cause years of fatigue and hair loss while a basic blood count looks fine.
BoneDEXA, with a baseline before menopause
Insurance usually pays for a first scan at 65. Bone loss is fastest in the years either side of your last period, so by 65 the decisions that mattered have already been made.
HeartApoB, Lp(a) and a calcium score
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women and is routinely under-investigated in them. We look properly, and early.
MetabolismFasting insulin, HOMA-IR, glucose monitor
Insulin resistance builds for years before blood sugar moves. Two weeks of continuous data then shows which of your own meals is driving it.
Strength & fitnessVO₂ max on a CPET, muscle mass, grip strength
Muscle strength and aerobic capacity are among the strongest predictors of how the next thirty years go. We measure both and track them.
ScreeningArranged, booked, chased
Mammogram, cervical, skin and colon — plus a breast-risk assessment, not just a scan. Paradigm does not perform these procedures; with Life Team we arrange them and coordinate with the specialists who do.

Hormone therapy, without the sales pitch
Perimenopause can start in your late thirties and last ten years. Sleep, mood, weight, memory, joints and cycle all shift at once — and because each symptom has another explanation, the pattern gets missed. We treat it as one thing.
There is an industry selling women pellets and compounded creams off a single blood test and a questionnaire. There is also a generation of doctors who stopped offering hormone therapy in 2002 and never read the reanalysis. Those are the same failure — a decision made for you, without the evidence.
We test properly and look for the cause first. Thyroid, iron, sleep, alcohol, medication, stress and depression all produce this exact picture, and each has its own treatment. Then we make a recommendation and give you the real numbers behind it.
Evidence, not hype. If hormone therapy is not right for you, we will say so — and we will still treat the symptoms.
What we focus on, and when
20s & 30sYour baseline
The numbers to measure once while they are good, so every later result means something. Fertility questions, contraception, iron, thyroid, and the bone you will need later.
40sThe shift
Perimenopause, usually unnamed. Sleep, weight and mood change together. Heart and bone risk start moving. This is the decade where early action pays most.
50sDecisions
Menopause itself, and a clear-eyed hormone-therapy decision. Bone density, cholesterol and blood pressure all need re-examining — the old targets no longer apply.
60s and beyondStaying independent
Muscle, balance, bone and brain, with a cognitive baseline taken while it is good. Most falls and fractures are avoidable with the right strength and balance work.
